Follow This Routine and Earn 300,000 Won a Month from Your Blog

I'll be honest with you. At first, I only half-believed the idea of "making money from a blog." But after committing to just one routine, I started earning over 300,000 won a month within six months. It wasn't some impressive skill or special talent. By the time you finish reading this post, you'll have a routine you can start today.

Step 1: Pick Just One Blog Topic That Can Generate Income
The most common mistake people make is running a "random blog." They post about restaurants, parenting, personal finance, and fitness all in one place. That way, neither search engines nor readers know what the blog is actually about. You need to narrow down to one topic before you can start earning.
Here's what to do. Choose your topic based on these three criteria:
- Something you can write about for at least 6 months without getting bored (your interests)
- Something people are actually searching for (check Naver and Google autocomplete)
- A niche where money changes hands (product reviews, lifestyle tips, personal finance, health, etc.)
For example, topics like "personal finance for people in their 20s," "solo cooking recipes," or "baby product reviews" work well — the more specific and clear, the better. It might feel too narrow at first, but that's okay. A niche topic gets picked up by search engines much faster than a broad one.

Step 2: Block Out a 3-Posts-Per-Week Schedule on Your Calendar First
I've been there too. I'd start out telling myself "I'll write every day," then give up within a week. A realistic routine of three posts per week is more than enough. In fact, someone who sticks to three posts a week for six months will go much further than someone who writes every day for two weeks and then quits.
Here's how to do it:
- Decide which days of the week you'll publish – for example: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Fix a consistent time for writing – choose one: 30 minutes before work, your lunch break, or 1 hour after work
- Add "Blog Publishing Day" as a recurring event in Google Calendar or Notion – if you can see it, you'll stick to it
It might take you two hours to finish a single post at first, but within a month, you'll get it down to under an hour. Consistency comes before speed. Once you've built up 50 posts, you'll notice a clear increase in search traffic firsthand.

Step 3: Always Attach at Least One Income Stream to Every Post
If you put in all that effort writing posts but have no monetization in place, it's just a diary. The key is to attach one income stream to every single post. You don't need to overcomplicate it from the start. Just pick one of these three options and go:
- Google AdSense – Once approved, ads are automatically placed in your posts. It's the most beginner-friendly way to start earning.
- Coupang Partners – Add product links within your posts, and you earn a commission whenever someone makes a purchase through your link. It works especially well for review-style posts.
- Naver Blog + Product Review Programs – Naver blogs are eligible for product review campaigns. You receive products for free and write a review in return.
For example, if you write a post titled "Best Air Fryers," you can naturally include a Coupang Partners link in the body of the post. Rather than making it feel like a forced advertisement, write from personal experience — "I tried this and it was great" — and readers will click without any resistance.

Step 4: Review Your Data Once a Month and Double Down on What's Working
Here's something I learned from running a blog for a long time. Not every post needs to perform well. Out of 50 posts, 5 to 10 will consistently drive search traffic, and those will account for the majority of your income. So when you find a post that's doing well, you need to write more in that direction.
Here's how to do it. In the last week of every month, spend just 10 minutes checking the following:
- Google Search Console – See which keywords are bringing people to your site
- Naver Webmaster Tools – Check your Naver traffic keywords
- AdSense or Partners Dashboard – Find out which posts are generating revenue
Once you find a post that's performing well, write 3 to 5 more posts targeting related keywords. For example, if "Best Air Fryers" is doing well, follow it up with "Air Fryer Recipes," "How to Clean an Air Fryer," and "Air Fryer Brand Comparison." This approach gradually expands your search visibility around a single topic.
Wrap-Up: Just Do This One Thing Today
If the routine feels too complicated, you won't start. So today, just do one thing.
→ Search a keyword related to the topic you want to write about on Naver or Google right now. Look at what words appear in the autocomplete suggestions, and use one of them to come up with your post title. Just deciding on your first post title means you've already begun.
300,000 won a month is closer than you think. Three posts a week, consistently, with a monetization structure in place. Stick to just these three things, and six months from now you'll see numbers that look completely different. I know because it happened to me.
